Feelings of betrayal or distrust can be devastating. The truth, however, is that any time I place my trust outside of myself I’m making myself dependent on someone or something else. As I learn to love and appreciate myself, I stop judging by appearances and no longer participate in blame or guilt games. As I love and trust myself more, I find that I experience a greater level of love and trust in all my interactions. I give love. I receive love. I am love.
